VIE Inc., which develops next-generation wearable electroencephalographs and implements neurotechnology in society, is collaborating with "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045." As the first step, they will participate in the electronic music and digital art festival "MUTEK.JP 2023," which will be held at Shibuya Stream on December 10, 2023, and will hold a guest conference, live performance, and workshop.

"Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" depicts a future world where AI and the brain have merged after the singularity.

VIE will experience the future brought about by technology through "Neuromusic," an audio-visual art form that combines cutting-edge neuroscience and AI, and explore what evolved humans will look like in the future.

MUTEK.JP 2023 VIE Presents Conference Program “Neuro Music – Dive Into Your Brain”

Produced by VIE, the MUTEK.JP Pro Conference will be held at Shibuya Stream Hall on Sunday, December 10th, featuring a comprehensive conference program including workshops, talk events, and live performances.

In the first half of the event, we will hold a workshop with music production software provider Ableton, where we will explain "neuromusic," music that affects the brain, demonstrate how to create music using Ableton, and hold demos with the participation of artists.

The second half of the event will feature a special collaboration with Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, including a talk event exploring the future of human beings through music fused with the brain. The special program will also feature an audiovisual live performance, where you can experience future art with music and video generated by AI fused with the brain.

Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045

The original comic "Ghost in the Shell" (author: Masamune Shirow), which first appeared in the May 1989 issue of "Young Magazine Pirate Edition," has since been adapted into various works, including animation and a Hollywood live-action film. With its cutting-edge and overwhelming worldview and visual expression, it is a monumental work of near-future science fiction that has influenced creators around the world. This collaboration with VIE was realized to commemorate the release of the 2023 film "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045: The Last Human."
